Many prestigious trophies and awards are presented at the Festival, all of which have been kindly donated over many years, from its inception to the present day.
OAS have only competed here for 2 years, but have always recieved a warm welcome.
Winning the Community Choirs class and coming second in the Mixed Adult Voices class in 2023, I think we can safely say we would love to return!
Salford Choral Competition
The Salford Choral Competition, organised by MAPAS (Music and Performing Arts Salford) is unfortunately not currently running, however, we thoroughly enjoyed taking part before the pandemic, even entering a couple of small groups in different categories as well as the main choir.
In 2018 we were 'Highly Commended' by the adjudicator.
